The Sharon Garden Club will be celebrating its 90th Anniversary as a recognized garden club in 2023. The club was organized in 1933 and became federated in 1934. In recognition of this momentous event, the theme for Books In Bloom this year will be based on books published in the 1930s. Books in Bloom pairs floral designers from the Garden Club with books they have chosen. Creative floral designs interpreting these books will be on display during regular hours at the Sharon Public Library from February 8th – 11th. Come enjoy the beautiful colorful creations depicting many books, including classics such as “The Joy of Cooking”, “The Good Earth”, ”Our Town”, “Little House in the Big Woods”, “National Velvet”, “The Hobbit”, “The Little Engine That Could”, “Mary Poppins”, and “Murder on the Orient Express”.
