How do you find the things you need to know in an era of "fake news" and AI-generated content? Listen to a librarian!
In this 2 hour workshop we will explore topics like evaluating sources for bias, using Wikipedia responsibly, tackling free online databases and exploring open source materials like the Internet Archive. Bring a computer if you can and think of a topic you would like to explore, either for school or for your own personal interest. Please make sure you have your library card handy!
This workshop is for kids in 6-12th grade.
