In this session of Serious About Science 3rd, 4th and 5th Graders will learn about physics, chemistry and biology through hands on experiements with our SHS science  facilitators.

Meet the Serious About Science Team:

Aishu: Hi! I’m Aishu Saravanan, a junior at Sharon High School! I’ve been passionate about chemistry since I was a child, and I’ve won competitions, taught chemistry classes, and taken chemistry courses (such as AP Chemistry) outside of school. I can’t wait to lead this workshop and help you discover your inner scientist!

Ayelet: Hi, I am Ayelet Yablon, and I’m a junior at Sharon High School taking AP Chemistry this year. Science has always been my favorite subject in school (in particular chemistry), and I have studied science extensively outside of school and during the summer. I look forward to exploring the wonders of science with you all :)!

Shruthi: Hey there friends!! My name is Shruthi Senthil and I am a junior at Sharon High School. I have taken AP Physics 1 and AP Chemistry and absolutely love science. Some of my favorite childhood memories are at science camps and workshops just like this one! I hope to challenge your brains while also having fun. I can’t wait to meet you all and share this scientific experience with you!!
