Blithewold is a historic, 33-acre summer estate with grand views of Narragansett Bay located in Bristol, RI. It is significant as an example of the Country Place Era in the U.S and for its adoption of Arts and Crafts Movement ideals. The property features a 45-room English style manor house filled with family heirlooms, surrounded by a mature arboretum and a series of gardens that are a combination of historic and contemporary gardening. The 10-acre Great Lawn, Enclosed Garden, Orchard, and Cutting and Vegetable Gardens were laid out in the late 1890s are but the first of many that were developed later. There is a gift shop on the premises.

Pass Benefits
Pass admits up to 6 people at $7 per Adult and $2.00 per child (6 - 17 years old). Passes are not valid for Programs, Afternoon Teas, and Christmas at Blithewold.
While the Blithewold Mansion and Gardens are open April 1st - January 1st, the museum passes are valid from April 1st through October 15th per Blithewold membership guidelines. While generally closed on Mondays, Blithewold is open on most Monday holidays.
