Blithewold is a historic, 33-acre summer estate with grand views of Narragansett Bay located in Bristol, RI. It is significant as an example of the Country Place Era in the U.S and for its adoption of Arts and Crafts Movement ideals. The property features a 45-room English style manor house filled with family heirlooms, surrounded by a mature arboretum and a series of gardens that are a combination of historic and contemporary gardening. The 10-acre Great Lawn, Enclosed Garden, Orchard, and Cutting and Vegetable Gardens were laid out in the late 1890s are but the first of many that were developed later. There is a gift shop on the premises.

Heritage Museums & Gardens is located on 100 acres on the banks of Shawme Pond in Sandwich, MA. The gardens feature internationally important collections of rhododendrons, a comprehensive collection of hydrangeas, a collection of over 1,000 varieties of daylilies, hostas, herb, heather gardens, and more than a thousand varieties of trees, shrubs and flowers along paths. An outdoor “Nature Explore Classroom” facilitates encounters with nature and STEM concepts for children ages 2 through 10. In addition, three gallery buildings house permanent exhibits of world-class automobiles, a working vintage carousel, American folk art, and special exhibitions.
